Hassan Sørensen

As you might imagine, modern technology came to me like a gift from the Æsir (Norse Gods). With a laptop and a smartphone I can work anywhere I want.

My father was a world-renowned engineer, and large parts of my childhood has been on the move with my parents. They too suffered from wanderlust, and they too were history geeks.

So where is my home? Well, that’s in Greenland. Definitely! And Spain. And Thailand! Sometimes Iceland. Sweden, for eight years. And now I am back in Denmark, so… Yeah… These places, and a few more.

I’m not a crazy adventurer, climbing mountains or paddling through the Amazonas. Just a tourist, you know… A sightseer.

I take pictures with my phone. Not very good pictures, but it helps me find beauty and oddities.

I write postcards. Sometimes short – or rather lengthy – observations and thoughts on Facebook. Sometimes whole books on subjects like history and life in general.

Life is too precious to take too seriously, so my books and posts are often tongue in cheek and attempting to be funny.

I’m a Storyteller, Graphic Designer (ACE, ACI) and Writer.

I’m even a Chaos Coordinator, and have helped many start-ups get started, and several companies out of trouble, by doing what I can with what I have, where I am, now.

Like my predecessors, I sail longboats (though only on Wednesdays).

I’m the father of two beautiful and smart adult girls. I wonder how they turned out so fine.

I live on a horse farm right outside Copenhagen, go to Reykjavik as often as I can, and on adventures as my financial situation permits.
(I’m having a hard time saying “financial” with a straight face. To get rich you must preservere. That’s not my Modus Operandi. Instead I have lived several lives for the price of one.)
